Gingerbread Cookie Instructions:
Starting off this holiday season with some delicious baked treats is definitely a must. So, for those who wish to spend their holiday with some tasty treats, here is how to make gingerbread cookies. The first step is to start out with your dry ingredients. In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, ground ginger, and cloves. Mix those ingredients together and set aside. Then, in a second bowl, combine your butter (unsalted), brown sugar, egg, and molasses. Use an electric mixer to mix the ingredients to create the perfect texture. The mixing process usually takes about two minutes. After this, slowly add the dry ingredients to the second bowl and mix them together. Using the electric mixer, combine the contents until you’ve got a dough-like consistency. Separate the dough into three parts and carefully store in the fridge to chill for about two hours. This will help the gingerbread cookies to not lose their shape when cooking. After they are chilled, spread the dough on a flat surface and roll it out with a roller. Then, use the cookie cutter of your choice to evenly make your gingerbread cookies. Once this step is completed, preheat your oven to 350 F. While you wait for the oven to warm up, spread your cut-out cookies on a baking pan with parchment paper and leave them in the freezer for about five to ten minutes to help hold the cookies’ shape. Once the oven is preheated, place the cookies into it for about nine minutes. When your cookies are done baking and have had a chance to cool down, you can begin the most fun part: decorating!
Cinnamon Rolls Instructions:
To start your cinnamon rolls, we need to create the dough. In a bowl, add some warm milk, yeast, eggs, sugar, and some softened butter. Blend together and slowly add your flour, mix well. Knead your dough a little bit before placing it in a greased bowl, and cover it with a clean towel or plastic wrap for about one to two hours. Roll your dough into a long, flat square-like shape, then begin creating your filling. In a bowl place your not too melted butter (filling), brown sugar, and cinnamon, stir well, and spread onto the surface of the dough thick but evenly. Then, roll up the dough the long way; it should look like a long dough roll with the filling on the inside. Once the dough is rolled, cut up the roll into one to two-inch slices or size of your liking. Place your rolls on a flat buttered up dish and let your little cinnamon rolls rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 375 F for about 18-20 minutes. If you choose to add the delicious icing on top here is how to make it. Combine your melted butter (icing), heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Mix well and place the tasty icing on the top of your freshly baked cinnamon rolls.
Brownie Instructions:
When craving some delicious fudgy brownies, here is how to bake the tasty treat: In a large bowl, add your melted butter and sugar and whisk. Then, begin adding your wet ingredients, such as eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla, and whisk once again. After this, throw in the vegetable oil and cocoa powder and mix well. Then, slowly add your dry ingredients: flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Combine well and stir in your chocolate chips (you can add as much as you like). The oven should be preheated to 325 F, and the batter should be poured into a greased pan. Then bake for 40 minutes. Decorate as much as you’d like and enjoy.
