On April 22, 2025, the following students were elected to be your 2025-2026 ASB officers- Historian: Hayden Crocker, Site Council: Sam Gentry, and Lola Kirsch, Spirit Commissioner: Karson Brooks, Publicity Manager: Aubrey Heath, Sgt-At-Arms: Bailey Armstrong, Treasurer: Kennedy Kirchem, Corresponding Secretary: Haya Ismael, Recording Secretary: Sophia Francis, Vice President: Olivia West, and your 2025- 2026 ASB President, Olivia Howell. These students will be a part of the Student Leadership class and help plan events and activities at school.

Historian: Hayden Crocker
- “Keeping a more organized class!!”
- “I was the historian last year and I really enjoyed it! I feel like I can be efficient with my work and organization.”
- “I handled my position well last year and have more ideas for this year.”
Site Council: Sam Gentry
- “To help Barlow make the right decisions and make sure people know what’s happening.”
- “Because I understand the position well.”
- “Cause I can communicate with adults well.”
Site Council: Lola Kirsch
- “I would like to improve our school and better the community.”
- “I chose this position because I wasn’t to be as much involved at barlow as I can and represent Barlow.”
- “I think I was the right fit for this position because i am a good leader, hard worker, and care about Barlow and our community.”
Spirit Commissioner: Karson Brooks
- “As Spirit Commissioner, I want to make sure that we have a positive community and I want to make sure students feel heard.”
- “I chose this position because I know that I can bring a strong positive energy to Barlow and set a good example for my peers.”
- “I know I’m the best pick for the role because I’m prepared to keep Barlow excited for every Activity and Athletic event.”
- “Some other fun and creative ideas I want to bring to school are having school spirit days (wear Barlow colors/gear), or other fun activities like senior jeans (painting jeans).”
Publicity Manager: Aubrey Heath
- “I want to better publicize upcoming social events, athletics, and activities across all types of media platforms. I want people to feel up to date and educated with what is happening at Barlow.”
- “I’m a content creator in student council this year, and have prior experience in running business social media accounts.”
- “I’m really good with programs like Canva and CapCut, which I’ll be using when creating media. I enjoy being artistic and am always looking for ways to improve my work.”
- “I want to improve our presence on platforms like TikTok, while also bettering our content on Instagram and around school.”
Sgt-At-Arms: Bailey Armstrong
- “My intentions is to create a more supportive and engaging environment where students will feel seen and heard. I also want to encourage school spirit to make our school a positive place.”
- “I chose my position of sergeant-at-arms because I care about making Student Council run smoothly and be organized, and I want to be a leader for our school.”
- “Because it went with my last name, Armstrong, I’m a very organized person, I’m a good person who can speak to crowds and people, and can keep everyone on track.”

Treasurer: Kennedy Kirchem
- “My intentions as treasurer are to make our events even better while staying on budget to make sure we will have enough money for any events the student body may want to add.”
- “I chose to be treasurer for the 25-26 school year because I felt it was the best fit for me and my skill set. I love dealing with money and am very good at budgeting since I’ve been learning how since I was very young.”
- “I feel like I was the best fit for this position because I’m very involved in the Barlow community, so I hear many different people’s opinions about our school. Another reason I was the best fit for this position is that I have already had experience with budgeting and taking inventory for my grandma’s small business, so I bring the skills I learned from that to my position as treasurer for Barlow.”
- “A few ideas I will bring to Barlow are helping budget for more or better school supplies in the classroom, more fundraising opportunities for leadership (so we can have bigger budgets for events the Barlow community loves), and helping find more fundraising ways for sports/activities/clubs to get the money they need to operate.”

- “My intentions for Barlow is to help make Barlow a more welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.”
- “I chose this position because I enjoy being involved in the community and my school and helping plan events that bring people together.”
- “I think I was the right fit for this position because I’m organized, positive, and I like working with others. I care about our school and want to make a difference. I also have a lot of leadership and volunteer experience around clubs, sports, and the community.”
- “I’d love to see more spirit events and ways for students to connect across different grades.”
Recording Secretary: Sophia Francis
- “My intentions for Barlow are to make it as supportive and happy as possible. I want to hear student feedback and try to incorporate it into what we’re doing.”
- “I chose this position because I felt it was something that could help me make a difference. I can help to make student ideas are heard and remembered.”
- “I feel that I was the right position for this spot because I am organized and I like to ensure things run smoothly.”
Vice President: Olivia West
- “My intentions are to build a stronger community, show support for activities, sports, and events, as well as to make the 2025-2026 school year memorable.”
- “I chose this role to show my commitment and passion for Barlow. I also did it to make a positive impact on the student body and to grow individually as a person.”
- “I think I was the right fit because of my experience and leadership skills. With that, I do a lot behind the scenes which people don’t know but is one of the most important things.”

President: Olivia Howell
- “I hope to make the Barlow community super fun and positive next year! I also want to make more people feel represented and included.”
- “I’ve been in leadership the past 3 years and wanted to take on a larger role for my final year. I have lots of ideas and I’m looking forward to spending it with one of my best friends, Olivia West, as vice president too.”
