2022 will be full of new favorites.

As people continue to ring in the new year, new entertainment continues to be released in 2022. Although finding a new show, movie, or game may be complex, whether it’s with friends or by yourself, wait until you see what’s coming out this year.

Are you interested in a sports movie? Home Team might be the right fit for you. “Two years after NFL head coach Sean Payton, played by Kevin James, is suspended due to his involvement in the “Bountygate” scandal with the New Orleans Saints; he serves a one-year suspension that takes him back to his hometown and leads him to try reconnecting with his 12-year-old son by coaching his Pop Warner football team. The family sports comedy also features  Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Jackie Sandler, Chloe Fineman, Isaiah Mustafa, and Gary Valentine, so be sure to check out their work in this laugh-out-loud Netflix Original.” Coming to Netflix on January 28th.

Get involved in some juicy relationships on blind dates and learn about each character in the new season of Love is Blind, coming February 11th. “The series follows thirty men and women hoping to find love. For ten days in a speed-dating format, the men and women date each other in different “pods” where they can talk to each other but not see each other. Whenever they decide, the men are able to propose to the woman they want to marry.”

Avatar was originally released in 2009. With the upcoming announcement, there will be an Avatar 2 coming out on December 16th. “Jake Sully and Ney’tiri have formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans.”

Need a family movie? Minions 2: The Rise of Gru will be released on July 1, 2022. “In the early 1970s, a 12-year-old Gru is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain group known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. When the Vicious 6 fire their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles, Gru interviews to become their newest member. It does not go well, and things only get worse after Gru steals a precious stone from them with the help of Kevin, Stuart, Bob, Otto, and the other Minions and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. On the run, Gru and the Minions will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles himself, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.”

Recently the new and last season of Ozark was released on January 21st and is now number one on Netflix. “The highly-anticipated final season of this Emmy Award-winning Netflix Original crime-drama series is finally upon us! Start your New Year off strong with the Byrde family as they deal with the explosive events of the Season 3 finale and try to rid themselves of the Ozarks and its dark criminal underworld in which Marty, played by Jason Bateman, and Wendy, played by Laura Linney, have become embroiled. Will the family finally be able to leave the place and the shocking things they’d seen and done there behind, or will the Ozarks swallow them whole and bring them all down for good? Trending on Hulu currently is the newest season of Euphoria. Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, trauma, and social media. Actor and singer, Zendaya, leads an ensemble cast including Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, and Sydney Sweeney.
