If you missed out on binge-watching movies and binge-eating snacks on Valentine’s day this year, here is a list of top V-day films to watch next year. Or if you want a good Rom-Com movie, here are ten great ones to watch. 

  1. 50 First Dates is a classic with Adam Sandler, who plays (Henry, a playboy), and Drew Barrymore, who plays (Lucy, a girl who can’t remember anything the day before because of a car accident.) The two of them meet, and Henry is bound to go on a date with Lucy, but when everyone tries to stop them from dating because of her condition, Henry won’t stop trying. 
  2. Valentine’s Day is a group of connected stories and how they spend their Valentine either with first dates, old connections, or lifetime commitments. 
  3. The Notebook is a great romantic movie with the chemistry of Noah (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachel McAdams). Still, the parents of Allie don’t approve of her relationship; their love gets separated when Noah leaves for war. When he returns, the strong connection they had pulls them right back together.
  4. Love Simon is a young boy who hasn’t told anyone that he is gay, and he doesn’t know how to search for the anonymous classmate he has fallen for online, but he has to resolve both these problems himself. 
  5. La La Land is about Sebastian, played by (Ryan Gosling) and Mia, played by (Emma Stone) who are drawn together by similar interests, but their decisions shake the relationship and threaten to rip their strong relationship apart. 
  6. Romeo and Juliet is a spin-off of Shakespeare’s book but updated to a more modern-day plot. “Baz Luhrmann helped adapt this classic Shakespearean romantic tragedy for the screen, updating the setting to a post-modern city named Verona Beach. In this version, the Capulets and the Montagues are two rival gangs. Juliet (Claire Danes) is attending a costume ball thrown by her parents. Her father, Fulgencio Capulet (Paul Sorvino), has arranged her marriage to the boorish Paris (Paul Rudd) as part of a strategic investment plan. Romeo attends the masked ball and he, and Juliet fall in love.”
  7. 10 Things I Hate About You– Kat, played by (Julia Stiles) is not quite a girly girl, so she doesn’t really attract guys, but sadly her younger sister can’t date until Kat does. So her sister sets Kat up to meet a guy that could be her potential boyfriend. 
  8. Titanic is an action-packed movie with many people on the largest moving object ever built. But when it got to the North Atlantic sea, things went wrong. 
  9. The Wedding Singer is a comedy with Adam Sandler who plays (Robbie), who has a broken heart, but his job is a wedding singer. He meets Julia who is played by Drew Barrymore and helps her plan her wedding, but he falls for her in the process.

How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days- A writer Andie, played by (Kate Hudson) pushes her limits in her new article on how to lose a guy in 10 days. But Ben, played by (Matthew McConaughey) thinks any girl he meets can fall in love with him in 10 days, but they contradict each other’s plans when the two meet.
