We’ve all heard of Minnesotan rapper, Matthew Hauri, professionally known as Yung Gravy. With hit songs like “Mr. Clean” and “Gravy Train,” and albums with names such as Snow Cougar, it is pretty much impossible to miss the fact that this man likes mature women. 

Standing at a hulking 6’7” with his luscious blonde locks, it is a surprise to hear that he has never publicly come out with one on his arm, until the MTV VMAs on Sunday, August 28th, 2022. 

This woman was none other than TikTok star Addison Rae’s mother, Sheri Easterling. Following her split with husband Monty Lopez, Easterling had made a few passes at Gravy through the social media platform TikTok that Addison became famous on, some of which he actually responded to. 

However, nobody expected this fiasco to go as far as it did, inciting backlash from ex-husband Monty Lopez and Addison Rae. Lopez posted a TikTok threatening to fight Gravy, which quickly gained traction due to its embarrassing nature. He is seen shirtless and rabid-looking, screaming at the camera, neck veins popping out, and his face turning a red bright enough to put a fully ripe tomato to shame. However, it didn’t stop there. 

Lopez called out Sheri Easterling on Instagram, rudely writing “Thank you @younggravy for taking the leftovers. I would rather spend time with my daughter and two grandkids that Sheri Nicole made me abandon as a child in order to be with her! Never let a woman make you choose between her and or your blood child!” 

This was a particularly rich statement to make as Lopez cheated on Easterling earlier this year with 25-year-old Instagram influencer Renee Ash. According to Cosmopolitan, Addison is mortified by her parents’ ongoing online feud. She has since unfollowed both Lopez and Easterling. But is it a real relationship or just a PR stunt? According to Page Six, a source close to Yung Gravy was alleging that this relationship was just a “viral stunt.” 

“It’s a PR relationship,” claimed the source, “it’s kissing, but it’s not real.” The source went on to say that Yung Gravy’s type is 25-year-old blonde women, and not older ladies, claiming that this lust just “isn’t real.” The source goes even further and alleges that since ex-husband Lopez cheated with a 25-year-old, Easterling may just be doing this as a stunt to get back at Lopez. 

“…it would be Pete Davidson if she could have landed him, but the best case scenario is Yung Gravy.” the source states. Neither Yung Gravy nor Sheri Easterling’s teams have made any remarks on these statements. 

All in all, this must be a very stress-inducing situation for Addison to experience, and for her and the rest of her family, I hope this gets resolved soon. Hopefully, her dad doesn’t continue to make secondhand-embarrassment-inducing social media callouts and deletes his account for everyone’s sake. As for the relationship between her mom and Yung Gravy, we will just have to see how it pans out!
