Pioneer Square in downtown Portland features a 75-foot tree that was lit on November 24th, the day after Thanksgiving annually. This is a free event, but you would just have to deal with the parking of what is downtown Portland. While this event has already passed, it’s always a good idea to grab some hot chocolate and go see it downtown.
