Mecha Man is a masked hero without any superpowers who has protected Los Angeles for three generations. It is unknown who is under the mask, but after the third generation Mecha Man had been shut down by Shroud again. It is unknown if he will retire after Mecha Man Blue comes out of his coma.
A new hero TellTales game called Dispatch was announced at the 2024 Game Awards, yet this game would also make the crowd wonder if it would be a great game. A hero action, choose your own adventure? It seemed promising for everyone who was excited about it. Many known actors and actresses like MoistCritical, Aron Paul, Jacksepticeye, Laura Bailey, and more would be playing the characters we would soon get to know. Dispatch would release two episodes each week starting from October 22, 2025, to November 12, 2025. Each character has a special power, and a different skill set, — either it has high charisma, strength, health, or intelligence.
AdHoc were the makers of this new tales game, giving a new opportunity for these types of games to come back. AdHoc Studios was founded in 2018 by the Telltales game developers. In 2019, they would help make a sequel for The Wolf Among Us. After a while, they would make us Dispatch. Youtubers and main game reviewers would want a good emotional, fun, and interesting story, and that’s what they got. IGN would review this game, and give it a 9.2 out of 10. On IGN by unknownJunk said, “I need more **cough cough** seasons 2”. This game has an impact on people, emotionally and physically. On Google, 98% liked the game, and players on Steam gave it a 10/10.
Dispatch takes place during 2025, telling us the story of Robert Robertson the third, also well known as Mecha Man. Robert is the third generation of Mecha Mans; all Mecha Mans were named by the community. The first generation was Robert’s grandfather who was Mecha Man Prime, who would die in the suit saving people. Robert’s father, known as Mecha Man Astral, would be killed by Shroud because he wanted the Astral Pulse. Robert’s suit would be damaged due to an unknown bomb planted on the back of his suit after trying to fight Shroud and send him back to prison. But after all of that, he is met by Blond Blazder and is given a job opportunity at SDN, known as Superhero Dispatch Network.
Concluding this game, it is noted that many of its players had waited so long to play this game. Now that all the episodes are out, many are finishing the game or now just buying the game. Adhoc had put their time and effort into this game. Is Dispatch a game worthy of this year’s Game Awards 2025? Will it win? Or will it receive just a nominee, we will find out at this year’s Game Awards! This years Game awards will be on December 11th, 2025.
